Volunteers will assist the Deck Assistants during Swim Team practices and meets. Volunteers may assist with welcoming and checking in members, staging equipment, as well as the set up and cleanup of the pool deck. Volunteers are fully supervised by Y Staff members. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION - Swim Team Deck Volunteer- I'm Interested! and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, the Y Staff will Assign you a Position on the Swim Team Deck Volunteer Team: Once your interview is complete, you will be assigned a position on the Swim Team Deck Team and be given a schedule for participation and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive.
