Volunteers will assist the Group EX instructors instructors during their fitness classes. Volunteers may assist with welcoming the participants, staging equipment, as well as the sanitation and cleanup of the exercise space. Volunteers may, if approved by the instructor, lead routines, assist individual members and demonstrate positions or actions when needed. Volunteers are fully supervised by Y Staff members. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION - Group EX Volunteer- I'm Interested! and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, the Y Staff will Assign you a Position on the Group EX Volunteer Team: Once your interview is complete, you will be assigned a position on the Group EX Team and be given a schedule for participation and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive.
