Volunteers will assist the Adaptive Swim Instructors during their classes. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in sharing their passion for aquatics. Seeking volunteers to help with safety around the water by providing an extra sets of arms and eyes in the pool as new swimmers learn the basics. Volunteers also help set up and clean up equipment/pool deck as needed. Volunteers are fully trained and supervised by Adaptive Swim Instructors at all times and provide assistance as needed. The Y is looking for volunteers who would like to share their joy of swimming with other members and friends. This position is perfect if you like people, love the water and want to help others reach their goals of physical fitness.
