Volunteers work alongside staff to provide a safe, nurturing environment which sparks children's imaginations and inspires fun and creative play while parents are striving to achieve their own goals in the fitness center. Volunteers read, play and spend time with children 8 years old and under while assisting our fantastic Y child care staff. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, the Y Staff will Assign you a Position on the Kids' Club Team: Once your interview is complete, you will be assigned a position and given a schedule and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive, and training for your individual activity.
