Do you love soccer? Want to help kids, ages 3-9, learn to love it too? We have many volunteer opportunities for our spring soccer program. Coaches are needed to teach the fundamentals of soccer, good sportsmanship and to lead their teams in practice and in games. The season will run from August 12th-October 5th. There are two different types of teams to coach: 3 and 4 year old teams will practice and play during the week. They will practice for 30 minutes and then play their game for 30 minutes that same day. 5 and 6, 7 through 9 year old teams will practice one hour on a weeknight and play their games on a Saturday. All practices and games will be held at Morscher Park (4800 Mary Ingles Hwy, Highland Heights, KY 41076) HOW TO REGISTER: 1. If you received an invitation to coach and have spoken to the Program Director, scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and select SOCCER COACH - ASSIGNED BY Y STAFF and click the blue volunteer button to register. 2. If you have not spoken to a Y Staff member: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button with SOCCER COACH- I'M INTERESTED IN COACHING! A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule a time to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check, training and logistics of the league.
