Are you excited about welcoming people to the YMCA and ready to encourage them on their fitness journey? We are looking for volunteers to assist in our Fitness Center. Fitness Center Attendants will have the opportunity to welcome members to the facility, help with questions, and maintain the upkeep of the area (wipe down machines, refill supplies, etc.). This position is perfect if you have an encouraging personality and an eye for details. Volunteer hours are flexible and available 7 days a week. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION - Fitness Center Volunteer- I'm Interested! and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, the Y Staff will Assign you a Position on the Volunteer Fitness Center Crew: Once your interview is complete, you will be assigned a position and given a schedule and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive.
