Youth Development & Education

College Students may fulfill course credits through preapproved volunteer assignments throughout the school year. College students are assigned to a YMCA Early Learning Center for contracted period of times to fulfill college hour and activity assignments. Activities may vary and will be created to meet the passions and interests of the student and the mission of the YMCA. Dates and times will be determined on a case by case basis. TO REGISTER: Scroll to the bottom the screen and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button next to the project that interests you. A member of the YMCA staff will be in touch with you shortly to discuss the volunteer tasks, schedules and to answer any questions you may have. All volunteers must complete an interview, statement of medical fitness, fingerprint check, and background check to volunteer in a licensed early learning center. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the YMCA and for wanting to make an impact in our community.
