Event: Floatin' with Father Figures Date: Thursday, June 12th Time: 5:00pm - 7:30pm Bring your favorite father figure and make a splash at our Father’s Day Pool Party – YMCA-style! We’re celebrating all the awesome dads, stepdads, uncles, grandpas, and mentors with a root beer float in hand and sunshine on deck. We will have a dance off competition and a family photo booth! Volunteers are also needed to help make this event a success! See below what volunteer tasks are available. Volunteer Needs: Setup Crew (4:15–5:00 PM): set up tables, signage, and root beer float station Root Beer Float Station (5:00–7:00 PM): serve and restock Dance-Off Coordinator (6:15–6:45 PM): run contest and pass out prizes Photo Booth (5:00–7:30 PM): assist with photos and props Pool Deck Monitors (5:00–7:30 PM): ensure safety and distribute floats Cleanup Crew (7:30–8:00 PM): 3–4 help with takedown and trash TO REGISTER: Scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the blue volunteer button next to Volunteer! in the time slot you are interested in.
