It's a GOOD NEIGHBOR PROJECT! Thursday, July 24th at CityLink Center! Join members and friends as we GO OUT into the community and MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Central Parkway has partnered with the CityLink Center, where people can come together, surrounded by a single team, and create a plan to overcome poverty and achieve self-sufficiency and hope. Citylink and the Y recognize that life is complex, and by taking a holistic approach, we can help individuals reach their full potential. Together, we're transforming lives and our community. For our first activity, Y volunteers will head to the CityLink Center on Thursday, July 24th to help with their annual Client Celebration. Each year, CityLink Center hosts a dinner to celebrate their clients' journey to self-sufficiency. This is a great opportunity for volunteers tolearn about the work CityLink does in the community and how they celebrate their clients' accomplishments. It will truly be a rewarding evening as we give our time and talents to support an organization that is supporting our neighbors! Volunteer Activity: * We'll help set up the space, welcome guests and clients, serve dinner, and then do a quick cleanup afterwards. Volunteers should bring their biggest smiles and loudest cheers as we come together to celebrate each client that evening. We will have two shifts: 3 pm to 5:30 pm - Setup 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm - Welcome team, dinner servers, and cleanup crew. ⭐⭐⭐ THIS WILL REQUIRE YOU TO REGISTER WITH BOTH the YMCA and CityLink Center!
