Clippard YMCA
What it is: This is an annual “Neighbors helping Neighbors” service day hosted by the Colerain Township Department of Fire & EMS in collaboration with People Working Cooperatively. It launched in 2016 and has grown to become an engaging and meaningful community tradition. Volunteers are needed from 7:45am - 11:45am. Who it helps: Older adults, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and others in our community who could use some extra help with yard work, general clean‑up, and home‑maintenance support. The tasks are straightforward and do not require specialized skills — just willingness to lend a hand. Why it matters: Your participation makes a real difference — helping neighbors stay safe and comfortable in their homes, while building stronger connections across the Colerain community. It’s a powerful way to live out the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and inclusion. As part of our efforts at the Clippard Family YMCA to uplift and engage our community (including seniors), this event provides a meaningful opportunity for members, staff, and volunteers to step into service together.
