Make a splash while making a difference! Join us for the World’s Largest Swim Lesson and Pool Event on Thursday, June 25 from 1 to 4 pm! Help us create an unforgettable day of water safety, family fun, and community connection! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the excitement! We are recruiting for two types of activities. 🎉 Pool Deck Activity Volunteers: Great for those who want to stay dry, love fun, music, and community energy. Perfect for volunteers who enjoy engaging with families and keeping the excitement going all day long! Help bring the pool deck to life by: * Leading games and family-friendly activities * Assisting with food and refreshment stations * Welcoming participants and cheering on swimmers * Helping with setup, decorations, and cleanup * Creating a fun and positive atmosphere for everyone 🏊 In-the-Water Swim Lesson Volunteers (Swim lessons will take place the last 15 minutes of each hour.) This role is ideal for volunteers who are comfortable in the water, enjoy working with children, and want to help promote water safety in a meaningful way. Volunteers in the pool will: * Assist YMCA swim instructors during lessons * Encourage and support young swimmers * Help participants feel safe and confident in the water * Celebrate milestones and successes with swimmers 💙 Why Volunteer? Volunteers can earn service hours, build leadership experience, and be part of a worldwide movement promoting water safety awareness.
