Do you love basketball? Want to help kids, ages 3-9, learn to love it too? We have many volunteer opportunities for our fall basketball program. Coaches are needed to teach the fundamentals of basketball, good sportsmanship and to lead their teams in practice and in games. The season will run from October 12th through December 5th. To sign up to coach, select volunteer next to your child's team number! HOW TO REGISTER: 1. If you received an invitation to coach and have spoken to Aly Wilking, Sports Director, scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and select BASKETBALL COACH - TEAM # (whichever team you are assigned) and click the blue volunteer button to register. 2. If you have not spoken to a Y Staff member: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button with BASKETBALL COACH- I'M INTERESTED IN COACHING! A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule a time to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check, training and logistics of the league.
