Clippard - Senior Center

Turn unwanted trash into treasured bedding and seating mats for those in need. Volunteers create plastic bag mats for distribution through Matthew 25 Ministries. Volunteers will flatten plastic bags, cut strips to make plastic yarn (Plarn) and crochet into a full size plastic bag mat for those in need. Volunteers meet at the Colerain Senior Center on Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. weekly. Volunteers bring tools for cutting the plastic bags and their own crochet needles.
