Volunteers assist our YMCA Member Experience Staff in making our YMCA the most welcoming place. We are looking for volunteers to join our welcome desk in wishing everyone that walks through our doors a warm welcome and a fond farewell! Welcome Center volunteers will have the opportunity to assist members with checking in as they enter and providing basic information. This position is perfect if you have a joyful personality and enjoy helping others. Volunteer hours are flexible and available 7 days a week. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION - Welcome Center - I'm Interested in Volunteering! and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, the Y Staff will assign you a Position on the Welcome Center Team: Once your interview is complete, you will be assigned a position on the Welcome Center Team and given a schedule and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive.
