Hospitality Volunteers assist our YMCA Member Experience Staff in making our YMCA the most welcoming place. We are looking for volunteers to help with the beautification and maintenance of our facility. Volunteers complete a variety of tasks depending on personal interest and Y needs which may include assisting at the welcome center check in activities, sprucing up the lobby and fitness centers, assisting with towel and beverage services and other simple light maintenance tasks. This role is ideal for those wanting to provide a positive member experience while lending a helping hand. It is also designed for community service hour seekers to fulfill school or non-legal requirements. For this role you are required to participate at least 2 days per week for at least 4 weeks. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button next to Hospitality Volunteer - I'm Interested in Volunteering! A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, you will be scheduled a Position AFTER your interview: Once your interview is complete and a Y staff member will assign you to the position, HOLD A POSITION - Hospitality Volunteer- Assigned.
