Volunteers assist our YMCA Member Experience Staff in making our YMCA the most welcoming place. We are looking for volunteers to join our welcome desk in wishing everyone that walks through our doors a warm welcome and a fond farewell! Welcome Center volunteers will have the opportunity to assist members with checking in as they enter and providing basic information. This position is perfect if you have a joyful personality and enjoy helping others. Volunteer hours are flexible and available 7 days a week. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button next to Welcome Center - I'm Interested in Volunteering! A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, you will be scheduled a Position AFTER your interview: Once your interview is complete and you are assigned the position, a Y Staff Member will register you in the HOLD A POSITION - Welcome Center- Assigned project. Your Y staff supervisor will work with you to set up your schedule and your orientation. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Y.
