Pickleball is a tennis-like game played on a badminton-sized court. It is played with a composite paddle and a whiffle ball over a net. It is easy for beginners to learn. The Y is looking for volunteers who would like to share their joy of this fun filled game with other members and friends. Here is your chance to help others learn a game that is fun for all ages. This position is perfect if you have a joyful personality, some knowledge and experience playing this game, and enjoy helping other to reach their goals of physical fitness. Volunteer hours are flexible and available 7 days a week. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION - Pickleball Volunteer and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, the Y Staff will Assign you a Position on the Volunteer Pickleball Crew: Once your interview is complete, you will be assigned a position on the Pickleball Crew and given a schedule and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive.
