Music Resource Center

Passionate about music and want to share that passion with students? Do you have expertise and/experience with audio production? Music production and studio volunteers at the Music Resource Center play an integral part in capturing our students' passions. Our studio/music production volunteers help out with music production instruction, song writing, beat making, intro to recording software (GarageBand & Logic Pro), live sound, and multitrack recording. Generally, volunteers donate their time one day a week, for at least 2-4 hours and schedules may vary depending on the volunteer availability and student interest. Our students come from a various different walks of life, and have different musical interests, goals, and skill levels. Volunteers excel at MRC by meeting each individual where he or she is and being open to creating a fun and educational learning experience for teens that makes them want to come back. MRC is open to our members, Monday-Friday 2-7 PM, and 12-6 PM in the summer.
