Music Resource Center
Big news! MRC hosts 95.7 MRC Radio (WVQC-LP)—the ONLY high school radio station in the Tri-State, thanks to our granted FCC license! What makes it special? Our entire playlist features original music from talented teens (grades 7-12) right here at the Music Resource Center. How Can You Get Involved? Radio volunteers bring the station to life by helping with: 🎧Podcast production – Editing and recording exciting content 🎧On-air content creation – Music segments, interviews & more 🎧Hosting shows – Helping teens develop their radio voice Time Commitment & Schedule: Volunteers typically help 1+ days a week for 2-4 hours (flexible schedule!) ✨ Why Volunteer? MRC students come from all walks of life, each with different musical tastes, skills, and goals. Volunteers make a difference by meeting them where they are, fostering a fun, creative, and educational space that keeps them coming back for more! 🎤 Ready to be part of the next wave of young radio talent? Join us at 95.7 MRC Radio! 🎶 MRC is open 2-7 PM (Mon-Fri) and 12-6 PM (Summer hours) TO REGISTER: Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button next to the project that interests you. A member of the MRC staff will contact you shortly to discuss the volunteer tasks and schedules and answer any questions you may have. Please Note: All volunteers must complete an interview and background check to work with the students. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Music Resource Center!
The mission of the Music Resource Center–Cincinnati is to inspire teenagers in a culturally diverse and musically focused setting to elevate lifetime photo and academic achievement.
