MRC - Radio/Podcast Volunteers

Music Resource Center

95.7 MRC Radio is on the air! MRC is pleased to announce that we have been granted a license from the FCC, creating the only high school radio station in the Tri-State! 95.7 MRC Radio (WVQC-LP) features a playlist comprised entirely of music created by teens in grades 7-12 at the Music Resource Center. Radio volunteers help out with podcast production, creating radio station content for 95.7fm, sweepers, PSA's and shows. Generally, volunteers donate their time at least one day a week, for at least 2-4 hours and schedules may vary depending on the volunteer availability. Our students come from a various different walks of life, and have different musical interests, goals, and skill levels. Volunteers excel at MRC by meeting each individual where he or she is and being open to creating a fun and educational learning experience for teens that makes them want to come back. MRC is open to our members 2-7 PM, Monday-Friday, and 12-6 PM in the summer. TO REGISTER: Scroll to the bottom the screen and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button next to the project that interests you. A member of the MRC staff will be in touch with you shortly to discuss the volunteer tasks, schedules and to answer any questions you may have. All volunteers must complete an interview and background check to work with the students. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Music Resource Center!
