Join the YMCA as we walk in the Cincinnati Pride Parade on Saturday, June 28. Dress in your best Pride apparel, and come ready to walk (or dance) your way along the 1.7 mile parade route through downtown Cincinnati. The Parade steps off downtown at 11 am. The parade route begins at 7th & Plum, travels down Vine St past Fountain Square, and ends at the Cincinnati Pride 2022 Festival at Sawyer Point & Yeatman's Cove. Important information the Y Team Volunteers will need to know: Arrival • Plan to arrive between 10:15 - 10:45 am. The parade will start promptly at 11 am • The lineup location is 7th Street and Central Avenue. Our lineup spot is #180 under our name, ‘YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.’ Also, our staging will be in the orange lane. The color of the lane tells us which lane on the street to walk down to find our entry number. Parade Route • The route is approximately 1.7 miles long. • Please Do NOT STOP at intersections. End of Route • At the end of the parade, all parade participants on foot must enter Yeatman’s Cove. • Please do not block the entrance to Yeatman’s Cove. Attire and Handouts • You are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and clothing that are festive, fun, and reflect who you are. Please keep in mind that you are representing the YMCA. • YMCA shirts will be offered to the first 30 participants who registered. An individual email will be sent to those individuals to pick up their shirts prior to parade day. • You may bring water to stay hydrated. • Additional Pride swag and giveaways will be provided.
