Join the YMCA as we participate in the Cincinnati Pride Parade on Saturday, June 27. Dress in your best Pride apparel and come ready to walk (or dance) your way along the 1.7-mile parade route through downtown Cincinnati. The Parade steps off downtown at 11 a.m. The route begins at 7th and Plum, travels down Vine St past Fountain Square, and ends at the Cincinnati Pride 2025 Festival at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove. Important information the Y Team Volunteers will need to know: Arrival • Plan to meet in the Parking lot BEHIND Central Parkway Y at 9 am to receive your t-shirt. Then we will walk as a group over to 7th Street and Central Avenue at 10 am. Our lineup spot is TBD under our name, ‘YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.’ Also, our staging will be in the blue lane. The color of the lane tells us which lane on the street to walk down to find our entry number. Parade Route • The route is approximately 1.7 miles long. • Please Do NOT STOP at intersections. End of Route • At the end of the parade, all parade participants on foot must enter Yeatman’s Cove. • Please do not block the entrance to Yeatman’s Cove. Attire and Handouts • You are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and clothing that are festive, fun, and reflect who you are. Please keep in mind that you are representing the YMCA. • YMCA shirts will be offered to the first 30 participants who registered. An individual email will be sent to those individuals to pick up their shirts prior to parade day. • Bring water to stay hydrated. It will be hot! • Wear and bring sunscreen! • Additional Pride swag and giveaways will be provided. Our YMCA delegation marshals this year are Emily Andersen and Meredith Ramstetter.
