Do you love soccer? Want to help kids, ages 3 -10, learn to love it too? We have many volunteer opportunities for our spring soccer program. Coaches are needed to teach the fundamentals of soccer, good sportsmanship and to lead their teams in practice and in games. The season will run from April 7th through June 1st. All Ages 3-10 will have a 30-minute team practice followed by a 30-minute game in the gymnasium one weekday night. HOW TO REGISTER: 1. If you received an invitation to coach and have spoken to Nick Hoyt, Director of Small Groups, scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and select SOCCER COACH - for your age group and click the blue volunteer button to register. 2. If you have not spoken to a Y Staff member: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button with SOCCER COACH- I'M INTERESTED IN COACHING! A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule a time to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check, training and logistics of the league.
