Do you have a passion for reading and enjoy sharing with others your thoughts and insights about the books you read? Volunteers are needed to coordinate the monthly Y Book Club. We are looking for someone who will lead each group session, coordinate monthly book discussions, and send notifications. The Book Club Facilitator will lead engaging and thought-provoking book conversations for members of our community. This volunteer will help cultivate a welcoming space for dialogue, learning, and personal connection through literature. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION - Book Club Volunteer - I'm Interested and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, the necessary requirements, and the training. B. Then, the Y Staff will assign you a Position on the Book Club Volunteer Team: Once your interview is complete, you will be assigned a position and given a schedule and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive, and training for your individual activity.
