The Campbell County YMCA is looking for individuals who love to make the pool a cleaner place by helping tidy things up around the pool. Volunteers will assist the Lifeguards during their shift. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in sharing their passion for aquatics and cleanliness. Seeking volunteers to help with safety around the water by providing a helping hand to our hard-working lifeguards. Volunteers also help set up and clean up equipment/pool deck as needed. Volunteers are fully supervised by Lifeguards at all times and provide assistance as needed. The Y is looking for volunteers who would like to share their joy of swimming and cleaning with other members and friends. This position is perfect if you love the water and want to help keep the pool free of debris. Volunteer hours are flexible and available 5 days a week. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION - Swim Clean Up Crew- I'm Interested! and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an conversation to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, the Y Staff will Assign you a Position on the Swim Clean Up Crew: Once your conversation is complete, you will be assigned to the Swim Aerobics Crew and given a schedule and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive.
