Central Parkway YMCA

It's a GOOD NEIGHBOR PROJECT! Join members and friends as we GO OUT into the community and MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Central Parkway has teamed up with St. Vincent De Paul to help in their food pantry. We will help stock shelves and, most importantly, help customers shop. We will be there to provide assistance and raise awareness about food insecurity in our area. No one should ever go hungry, and the Y is proud to play a part in making food available to our neighbors. This year, volunteers will go to the St. Vincent De Paul Society Food Pantry on Wednesday, November 12th, from 1 p m to 4:00 pm. St. Vincent De Paul gives groceries to those in need so that they have one less thing to worry about as they try to make ends meet. Volunteers will help stock shelves, assist customers, and provide an extra set of hands to make the work lighter in the market. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to participate, in accordance with SVDP guidelines. ⭐⭐⭐ THIS WILL REQUIRE YOU TO REGISTER WITH sT. VINCENT DE PAUL AND THE YMCA! A Y Staff member will contact you with instructions on completing your St. Vincent de Paul registration and provide information on going together on the event day.
