Gamble-Nippert YMCA Clean-Up & Refresh Project 📅 Date: Thursday, July 16 🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Join Altafiber and the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati for a hands-on volunteer project that will help enhance spaces used by YMCA members and the Westwood community. Volunteers will assist with organizing and cleaning a storage garage and supply closet, helping create a more efficient and functional environment for staff and volunteers. The team will also help prepare a former preschool classroom that will soon be transformed into a new exercise and wellness space for YMCA members. Projects may include sorting, organizing, light cleaning, moving supplies and equipment, and preparing the room for future improvements. No special skills are required—just a willingness to lend a hand and work as a team. This project offers a meaningful opportunity to make a visible impact while helping create welcoming, organized, and inspiring spaces that support health, wellness, and community connection at the YMCA. Volunteer Capacity: 10–12 volunteers What to Wear: Comfortable clothing that can get dusty and closed-toe shoes. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, move, and organize light to moderate items; standing and walking for portions of the project.
