Volunteers work alongside staff to provide a safe, nurturing environment which sparks children's imaginations and inspires fun and creative play while parents are striving to achieve their own goals in the fitness center. Volunteers read, play and spend time with children 8 years old and under while assisting our fantastic Y child care staff. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button next to Kids' Club Volunteer - I'm Interested in Volunteering! A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, you will be scheduled a Position AFTER your interview: Once your interview is complete and you background check is complete, the Y staff will register you for the HOLD A POSITION - Kids' Club Volunteer- Assigned. Your Y staff supervisor will work with you to set up your schedule and your orientation. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Y.
