At the Y, we want every member to know they are valued. Our Care Team is dedicated to reaching out and building connections, and we’re looking for volunteers who share that passion! Opportunities include writing letters or cards, making the occasional phone call, assembling information packets, and helping share the exciting programs the Y has to offer. If you enjoy encouraging others and using your creativity to brighten someone’s day, this committee may be a perfect fit. Throughout the year—and especially during our Annual Campaign—we count on volunteers to serve as ambassadors and champions of our mission. Volunteers help share powerful stories, communicate our impact, and connect people to our cause by encouraging them to give back through volunteering and donating. There are many ways to get involved! You can be a virtual fundraiser, make phone calls, or simply help spread the word about the YMCA’s impact in our community.
