Are you looking to remain involved with YMCA Camp Ernst as alumni? Join the Alumni Weekend Planning Committee and work together to plan the year of engagement and reunion activities for Camp Ernst alumni. We will meet periodically to plan alumni engagement activities and events for the year. TO REGISTER AND LEARN MORE ABOUT POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITIES: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button next to Alumni Steering Committee - I'm Interested! A member of the Camp Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss possible volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, you will be scheduled a Position AFTER your interview: Once your interview is complete and you background check is complete, the Y staff will register you for the HOLD A POSITION - Alumni Steering Committee - Assigned. Our goal is to match your passion, interests and skills with our needs and when we do, we are able to make a huge impact for our campers and our community! We welcome volunteers at Camp that want to share their skills and interests with our campers. Our goal is to match your passions with our needs and when we do, we are able to make a huge impact for our campers and our community! Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of programs. To find out how you can sign up to assist with a specific program register below. Currently, we have volunteers assisting with Arts and Crafts, Music, Mountain Biking and much more! Throughout the year, and especially during the Annual Campaign, we rely on our volunteers to be ambassadors and champions of our mission. This is achieved through sharing our stories, communicating our impact, connecting people to our cause and providing them the opportunity to give back to their community by volunteering and donating. There are so many ways volunteers may assist in these efforts. Consider being a virtual fundraiser, make phone calls, or simply help share our stories of impact! Volunteers help maintain our active horse ranch! Duties include assisting with maintenance projects such as cleaning stall and upkeep of the stables, assisting with the care of the horses and supporting activities held involving the horses.
