Camp Ernst
Everyone is welcome to register for our inaugural one day program celebrating all abilities! In conjunction with All Abilities Sports NKY we will spend the afternoon sampling camp activities such as horseback riding, archery, creeking, s'mores, sports and games, and more. Volunteers will assist with activities and serve as family guides. Sunday, September 21, 2025 Event time: 1-5pm Volunteer check in and orientation: 12-1pm TO REGISTER: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. The system will walk you through creating an account and registering for this fantastic event! For first time volunteers, click on Register Now. For returning volunteers, Click on Login. Are you looking to remain involved with YMCA Camp Ernst as alumni? Join the Alumni Weekend Planning Committee and work together to plan the year of engagement and reunion activities for Camp Ernst alumni. We will meet periodically to plan alumni engagement activities and events for the year. TO REGISTER AND LEARN MORE ABOUT POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITIES: A. Our goal is to match your passion, interests and skills with our needs and when we do, we are able to make a huge impact for our campers and our community! Our goal is to match your passions with our needs and when we do, we are able to make a huge impact for our campers and our community! Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of programs. Throughout the year—and especially during our Annual Campaign—we count on volunteers to serve as ambassadors and champions of our mission. Volunteers help share powerful stories, communicate our impact, and connect people to our cause by encouraging them to give back through volunteering and donating. There are many ways to get involved! You can be a virtual fundraiser, make phone calls, or simply help spread the word about the YMCA’s impact in our community. Your support ensures the Y can continue to transform lives through the power of philanthropy. Volunteers help maintain our active horse ranch! Duties include assisting with maintenance projects such as cleaning stall and upkeep of the stables, assisting with the care of the horses and supporting activities held involving the horses.
