Volunteers will assist with administration activities at the local branch. This position is perfect if you have a joyful personality and enjoy office work such as filing, data entry, and office oriented projects. Volunteer hours are flexible and available 7 days a week. HOW TO REGISTER: A. First, Schedule an INTERVIEW: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION - Administration Volunteer - I'm Interested and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button. A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule an interview to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check and training. B. Then, the Y Staff will Assign you a Position on the Administration Team: Once your interview is complete, you will be assigned a position and given a schedule and instructions on how to record your hours when you arrive, and training for your individual activity. On Saturday, October 18th from 12pm to 2pm, Clermont Y is hosting a Community Trunk or Treat! Community members and local business are invited to head to the Clermont Y, decorate their cars, bring candy and get ready to pass out lots of treats as lots of neighborhood costumed children parade by. Volunteers are crucial to making this event a smashing time for our community. We are also looking for event volunteers to help with set up, passing out goodies, and helping with games and activities. Volunteers are needed from 11am - 2pm to help with set up. TO REGISTER YOUR TRUNK AND TO LET US KNOW YOU WILL PARTICIPATE: Scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the blue volunteer button next to Count My Trunk In! Each car needs to have ONE PERSON registered for the event. You will be given the opportunity to create an account as a volunteer for the evening. Do you have a passion for reading and enjoy sharing with others your thoughts and insights about the books you read? Volunteers are needed to coordinate the monthly Y Book Club. We are looking for someone who will lead each group session, coordinate monthly book discussions, and send notifications. The Book Club Facilitator will lead engaging and thought-provoking book conversations for members of our community. This volunteer will help cultivate a welcoming space for dialogue, learning, and personal connection through literature. HOW TO REGISTER: A. Do you have a special skill to share? Come share it at the Y! Enrichment Hour is a chance for members to learn new skills and participate in new activities. Volunteers for Enrichment Hour will lead activities such as Healthy Rhythms, Scrapbooking, ect. We would love for new skills and activities to be shared and lead! HOW TO REGISTER: A. 🦋 Help us keep the YMCA campus blooming—for our members, mermaids, butterflies, and all! 🌼 Volunteers assist with planting, watering, weeding, and light garden care based on the season and your interests. Tasks span the entire YMCA grounds, including our beautiful , mermaid gardens. This is an excellent fit for anyone who enjoys being outdoors, wants to build gardening skills, or needs community service hours (non-court-ordered). Note: Youth under 12 must volunteer with a parent. HOW TO REGISTER: A. Group Exercise Volunteers and Class Champions support YMCA instructors in making classes welcoming, energetic, and engaging for all participants. Volunteers assist with greeting and connecting with members, especially those new to class, as well as helping stage or set up equipment, supporting anyone arriving late, and maintaining a clean and safe exercise space. With instructor approval, volunteers may also demonstrate movements, lead routines, or offer one-on-one encouragement during class. This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys fitness, motivating others, and creating a sense of belonging. Volunteers are fully supervised by YMCA staff. These high-energy shifts are a fun way to connect with people, share information, and spread some school-year cheer.
