Join the YMCA in spreading kindness and connection with the "3,000 I Love Yous" - Love Note Project! We're looking for enthusiastic and caring volunteers to help bring love and smiles to our community. You will be able to make a tangible difference in someone’s day. Members and friends are invited to stop by the Y and send a Love Note to friends and families in time for Valentine's Day. We hope to send 3,000 love notes out into the world! Just think of the difference it will make for the receivers and the senders too! 📍 What You’ll Do: Oversee a table station with cards, markers, and stamps. Assist members and neighbors in creating heartfelt Hallmark-style cards. Help them share messages of love and appreciation with those who matter most. It's not only for romantics! Friends and neighbors need some love too! Ensure all cards are ready for the YMCA to mail in time for Valentine's Day! 👥 Who Can Volunteer: Friendly individuals who enjoy engaging with the community. Love will start here! Teens and adults are welcome! Bring a friend or family member to volunteer alongside you. 🕒 When and Where: Flexible shifts from February 9th to February 16th will be available. This position is perfect if you have a joyful personality and enjoy office work such as filing, data entry, and office oriented projects. Volunteer hours are flexible and available 7 days a week. The event begins at 6:00 pm, volunteers are asked to come at 5:30 pm. 🦋 Help us keep the YMCA campus blooming—for our members, mermaids, butterflies, and all! 🌼 Volunteers assist with planting, watering, weeding, and light garden care based on the season and your interests. Tasks span the entire YMCA grounds, including our beautiful , mermaid gardens. This is an excellent fit for anyone who enjoys being outdoors, wants to build gardening skills, or needs community service hours (non-court-ordered). Note: Youth under 12 must volunteer with a parent. HOW TO REGISTER: A. Group Exercise Volunteers and Class Champions support YMCA instructors in making classes welcoming, energetic, and engaging for all participants. Volunteers assist with greeting and connecting with members, especially those new to class, as well as helping stage or set up equipment, supporting anyone arriving late, and maintaining a clean and safe exercise space. With instructor approval, volunteers may also demonstrate movements, lead routines, or offer one-on-one encouragement during class. This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys fitness, motivating others, and creating a sense of belonging. Volunteers are fully supervised by YMCA staff. This unique volunteer opportunity is designed exclusively for college students completing course-required service learning or internship hours through a pre-approved assignment with the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. As a College Service Learning Volunteer, you’ll be placed at a designated YMCA branch for a contracted term during the academic year. Your role will be tailored to align with both your academic goals and personal passions, while supporting the Y’s mission to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Volunteer activities will vary and may include programming support, community outreach, youth engagement, or wellness initiatives—each designed in collaboration with your branch supervisor. Scheduling is flexible and determined on a case-by-case basis. Eligibility Requirements: You must be a current college student seeking credit through a formal course or program. You must have completed an interview with either: *Kellie Kiser, Community Executive Director of Clermont County YMCA, or *Stephanie Togneri, Sr. Director of Volunteer Engagement, YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.
