Central Parkway - Good Neighbor Project: Freestore Foodbank Volunteer

Central Parkway YMCA

It's a GOOD NEIGHBOR PROJECT! Join members and friends as we GO OUT into the community and MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Central Parkway has teamed up with the Freestore Foodbank to help in their marketplace, package food for children, youth, and adults in our community, and to raise awareness about food insecurity in our area. No one should ever go hungry, and the Y is proud to play a part in making food available to our neighbors. This year, volunteers will go to the Liberty Street Market o April 24th from 1 pm-3:30 pm o June 5th from 1 pm-3:30 pm o September 11th from 1 pm-3:30 pm o November 13th from 1 pm-3:30 pm The Freestore Foodbank gives groceries to those in need so that they have one less thing to worry about as they try to make ends meet. Volunteers will help stock shelves, assist customers and provide an extra set of hands to make the work light in the market. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to volunteer per Freestore Foodbank guidelines. ⭐⭐⭐ THIS WILL REQUIRE YOU TO REGISTER WITH FREESTORE FOODBANK AND THE YMCA!
