Do you love soccer? Want to help kids, ages 3-10, learn to love it too? We have many volunteer opportunities for our spring soccer program. Coaches are needed to teach the fundamentals of soccer, good sportsmanship and to lead their teams in practice and in games. The season will run from March 24th - May 16th There are two different types of teams to coach: Teams 1-4 will play on Saturdays. They will practice for 30 minutes and then play their game for 30 minutes that same day. Teams 5-16: They will practice for 45 minute on a weeknight and play their games on a Saturday. HOW TO REGISTER: 1. If you received an invitation to coach and have spoken to the Sports Director, Joey Allinder, scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and select SOCCER COACH - TEAM you were assigned and click the blue volunteer button to register. 2. If you have not spoken to a Y Staff member: Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button with SOCCER COACH- I'M INTERESTED IN COACHING! A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule a time to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check, training and logistics of the league. The Staff member will assign you to a team and help you to get started. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Y.

This group helps plan and organize the 2026 YMCA gymnastics home meet—from coordinating logistics and schedules to prepping supplies and supporting event-day operations. Ideal for detail-oriented, team-minded volunteers who want to create a smooth and positive experience for athletes and families, all while living out the Y’s core values. Our next meet is on February 7th! Volunteers are now being recruited for pre-event activities, the day of the event, and post-meet tasks.
