Do you love soccer? Want to help kids, ages 3-10, learn to love it too? We have many volunteer opportunities for our spring soccer program. Coaches are needed to teach the fundamentals of soccer, good sportsmanship and to lead their teams in practice and in games. The season will run from March 23rd-May 23rd. There are two different types of teams to coach: Teams 1-10 will practice and play on Saturday mornings, they will practice for 30 minutes and then play their game for 30 minutes that same day. Teams 11-22 will play TWO times a week: They will practice 45 minutes on a weeknight and play their games on a Saturday. HOW TO REGISTER: 1. If you received an invitation to coach, scroll down and continue to select the team you wish to volunteer for. 2. If you have not spoken to Nathan Siwicki, Sports Director, Scroll down to HOLD A POSITION and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button with SOCCER COACH- I'M INTERESTED IN COACHING! A member of the Volunteer Staff will reach out to you to schedule a time to discuss the volunteer role, necessary background check, training and logistics of the league. They will practice for 30 minutes and then play their game for 30 minutes that same day. Teams 13-26 will play TWO times a week: They will practice one hour on a weeknight and play their games on a Saturday. HOW TO REGISTER: 1.
